From Viareggio I headed East passing through Pisa and stopping in Florence before turning South to Greve in Chianti where totally by accident I stumbled across the Giro d’Italia!
Following the Italian coastline South towards Tuscany.
Riding South from Susa Valley to Genoa. I met a couple of fellow cyclists at a level junction and it was good to have some company for a couple of hours. I decided not to tell them about the weed element of my trip. Not sure why, probably just self preservation.
Riding North from Barcelona to the French Alps. 556 miles over 11 days (14 days total, 3 rest days).
Heading back up the East coast of Spain, 668 miles over 9 days of riding (11 days total).
Riding South from the French/Spanish border to Orgiva, Sierra Nevada. 589 miles over ten days (Ferry between Barcelona/Ibiza/Valencia).
9th – 14th October 2015. After chilling in Ibiza and letting my finger and tendon heal it was time to get back in the saddle.
