Australia: 90 Mile Straight (Part 1)
Space junk at Balladonia Service station and getting stoned while enjoying the adornments on the sign to mark the beginning of Australia’s longest straight road, part of the Nullarbor.

Rhino (my bike) is loaded to the limit with food, water and weed as I set off on Nullarbor day (and night) one.
Finding weed is great, especially in the middle of nowhere! I find some in a tree and buy some in a jar in between two days of riding from Esperance to Norseman.
I guess I must have impressed someone as the good people at Arizer decided to send me a little care package to a campsite in Esperance, WA. I push on East and get a first taste of the Arizer Solo II.
I had it in good faith that those Kangaroos would take food from the hand. They were not impressed with my offering. Then my tent sank. Luckily, I had some weed.
The ride from Pemberton to Albany, climbing the Gloucester Tree, leaning against Dog Rock and checking out blow holes. Who doesn’t love a blow hole?
Loudness from wind and a lighthouse to the quiet of the bush. A bit of bicycle touring cannabis ASMR towards the end. Choo-choo.
On this leg of my cycle across Australia I ponder ‘what if all the vineyards grew weed instead of grapes’ and salute the healthy stoner surfers of the world!
Loaded with some prime bud I hit some incredible beaches. Western Australia seems to be welcoming me with open arms in my first couple of weeks in the land of Aus!
Fresh from resting up in New Zealand I arrive in Perth, Western Australia. I immediately and with no difficulty I pick up (via a guy I asked in a bike shop) and have a look around before leaving, heading South.
