Nepal: Bandipur to Kathmandu
Glorious Nepal, glorious hashish. 420ing it up.
Glorious Nepal, glorious hashish. 420ing it up.
Back on tarmac, taking a small detour on my way to Kathmandu up to the picturesque village of Bandipur.
One day of bone shaking descent dropping 2,500 metres (8,000ft) to Tatopani.
The final climb from Old Jomsom to Muktinath, 2,700 metres (9,000 ft) to 3,600 metres (12,000 ft). Chill time in Hotel Bob Marley, where the man himself is supposed to have stayed when he visited Nepal.
More rough riding and hash vaping, ascending 600m (2000ft) to Old Jomsom at 2,700m (9,000ft) above sea level. Another superb day in Nepal!
A tough day of off-road climbing taking me up to 2,100 metres (7,000ft) above sea level.
Too much to fit into one video. I think the only time I’ve ever received a spontaneous round of applause on a bike ride so it was lucky that I was recording!
Day two of my five day mini adventure from Pokhara to Muktinath, this day took me up to Tatopani. There are no words. Hashish, mountains and Nepali hospitality. Something special.
Loved the chill vibe and the hash in Pokhara before heading further into the mountains.
I wrote in my journal of this day that it was the best day’s riding of my life. Loads of hashish, increasingly stunning mountains and my first view of a white tipped 8,000 metre peak. Oh an momos. Loads of momos.
